Gong has its 2025 State of Revenue out. You can grab it here. In general, the report ties to what were seeing everywhere in SaaS. Were ending the year in general with stronger growth that the prior year. Gong also looked across its entire customer base to measure deal velocity. The findings arent much different from what weve discussed before at SaaStr, but still very helpful to see, given how much data they are pulling from: On average, $100k deals take about 70 days to close.

Today, the most efficient public SaaS company is probably Doximity, at about $700,000 in revenue per employee. They get many network benefits, being the LinkedIn for Doctors.

Per Carta’s latest data, only 18% of tech sales execs are women, and 26% of reps overall: I’m slightly heartened that overall it’s at 26% women outside of the executive suite.

If a VC doesnt know you, and you arent a super hot start-up, even if you do get a term sheet it may take months. Yes, term sheets get done in one day.
